Luke earned his Doctor of Law from The University of Chicago Law School. Among other pursuits at the Law School, he worked as a Law Fellow for the Cicero Institute, drafting model legislation. Prior to joining GAILLE PLLC, Luke was an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he represented private equity funds in connection with fund formation and restructuring and banks in connection with energy sector debt matters.
Luke completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Rice University awarded him the James Street Fulton Prize for Excellence in Philosophy, which is given annually to the graduating senior whose overall record demonstrates the highest levels of achievement in the field of philosophy. Between Rice University and The University of Chicago, Luke also spent two years studying philosophy in the University of Notre Dame’s doctoral program.
Luke is an enthusiast of the chess variant Crazyhouse and is in the top 200 Crazyhouse players in the world.
